“I am the magic ingredient”
says top chef Dumi Ndlovu of andBEYOND, formerly CC Africa, about the food on board during the African Experience.

For over 20 years, Dumi has been a true andBEYONDER. He became andBEYOND’s Head Chef at Ngala Private Game Reserve before being promoted to the esteemed position of andBEYOND’s Group Training Chef. He has been an inspiration to many people, working in more than 40 lodge kitchens to teach chefs throughout Southern and Eastern Africa new concepts and trends.   

Reports of his culinary skills have spread far and wide and he has been invited to attend various national and international chefs’ conferences.

Before joining andBEYOND, Dumi had never left his village. He has now traveled the world and is a true ambassador for Africa and its delicious cuisine… but always happy to return home to his wife and two sons in Utah, Mpumalanga (South Africa).
