Wines on Board

It’s a journey that begins in the vineyard
Nederburg is South Africa’s leading and most decorated name in wine, winner of more international and domestic awards than any other winemaker in the country. It is also been rated one of South Africa´s best-loved brands by Wine magazine while the winery itself is a winner of the International Wine Tourism Award for Cape Town. Its universal appeal lies in Nederburg’s ability to make classically structured wines with fruit-rich flavors. Our hallmark combination of finesse and fruit is evident in all our wines.

Nederburg is situated near Cape Town. Cape Town has a Mediterranean climate and an average temperature of 26°C in the summer and 17°C in the winter. The “Cape Doctor” is a south-easter wind that cleans the air.

When you open a bottle of Nederburg, you open a true South African icon. Yet it’s a journey that begins in the vineyard, where we nurture our vines with time, care and patience.
